Example: Find detailed information of the academic achievements of researchers by searching on departments related to "Engineering" or by key words

Researchers Profiling Tool Pure

• Researcher’s results and number of publications

• Researcher’s affiliation per department, researchers by keywords

[1]　Access the Pure portal site. Click “Research units” at the top page. You will see the organization tree of Kyushu University.

[2] Click on the symbol “v” under "Faculty” and a list of departments will be displayed (many researchers are affiliated to a Faculty).

By clicking on the respective “v” symbol, look for the “Faculty of Engineering” and the name of the department you want to check. Click on the name of your interest, for instance “Chemistry and Biochemistry”.

[3] Click "Profiles."

[4] You will see a list of researchers belonging to each department. The chart shows the number of achievements by researcher.

Click on a researcher’s name you want to revise.

[5] By clicking on the butten “Fingerprint”, you will see a list of the keywords related to the researcher’s work.

[6] The butten "Network" will show if the researcher has collaborated with overseas institutions or has co-authored publications. 

[7] The button "Research Output" shows the researcher's academic achievements. On the right side  you will see the number of citations and the number of times the researcher has been mentioned on social media.

*  If you want to find researchers related to a certain keyword, enter the keyword in the top page of "Pure" and press the search button.

From among the researchers affiliated at Kyushu University, those related to the keyword you entered will be displayed.
